undefined method `new_call_uri' for #<Punchblock::Connection::Freeswitch

Kevin Triplett-3
Hi all,

It's late at night and my mind is foggy, so I'm sure it's probably something I'm doing wrong.

Backtrace: https://gist.github.com/073a8ceafd2d1571542f.git

Gemfile.lock: https://gist.github.com/c3e67659780731347c38.git

Call comes in and everything is fine until I execute #dial in the controller:

    status_result = dial("user/#{ext}@74.50.52.114", :for => 25).result

where 'ext' is a string identifying an extension in my FreeSwitch configuration. Which used to work fine until I upgraded something. I tried to revert back using git but no luck.

BTW, I used to use :for => 25.seconds but that's no longer working (no method `seconds' for 25:Fixnum)

Thanks for any help -- X_X

Is there a reason you're using FreeSWITCH via IES rather than mod_rayo? The IES support has been deprecated for a while.

The problem is that a feature was added a while ago (https://github.com/adhearsion/punchblock/commit/818fdefda180b2b13a0918c54bc1d95385f1084c) which was not also added to the FreeSWITCH-via-IES code, and then Adhearsion depends on this new feature.

You should move to mod_rayo.

Ah! I thought I was on mod_rayo with this server, but it looks like I'm at FreeSwitch 1.2.13 but mod_rayo was not built with it.

So I'll work on FreeSwitch, getting mod_rayo working with it, and then set

    config.punchblock.platform
to :xmpp?

Thanks as always, Ben!
